The Study

Framework

Purpose

This investigation will employ the Schwartz  Theory of Human Values as its guiding framework.  

This research investigates the changes in students' values due to attending university. It also seeks to identify whether attending a mission-driven university significantly impacts the development of students’ pro-social and pro-environmental values. 

 

This study aims to identify the specific classes and co-curricular activities that may shape values and significantly and impact pro-social and pro-environmental consumption.

 

By identifying these factors, the study intends to provide insights into how universities can better promote values that encourage pro-social and pro-environmental behaviors among their students. 

Timeline

2023 Phase One -  Initial data collection
